There is an infamous change over of apartments that happens every July 31 - August 1 in Iowa City. Most leases in the city begin and end on these dates, and it’s often known as the night where all the movers are “homeless” (unless they otherwise make arrangements). Most of these movers are University of Iowa students switching for the new school year. This year, one of these students apparently no longer needed a bed, and left it under this tree. Anyone looking for a place to sleep?

GroundFound #7: While Andrew and I were flying kites at the beach, I stumbled upon this single white feather sitting peacefully in the sand on a windy day. Most likely from one of the many seagulls in the area.
